Birchen Marans

 Most people that hear the name Marans automatically think of the Copper Marans. Now let me expand your horizons and introduce you to their gorgeous cousin, the Silver Marans. The copper is replaced on these birds with beautiful silver feathering. They lay beautiful rich terracotta colored eggs with the occasional speckled egg thrown in.
